Samantha graduated with a degree in Kinesiology and shortly after received her certification from the Ontario Kinesiology Association. Samantha has worked within the health and wellness industry for eight years. During this time she has worked in variety of roles, such as, administrative, sports marketing, corporate sales, fundraising and program development.

Growing up on Toronto Island, Samantha developed a passion for the sport of sailing. She has coached every level from learning to sail to Olympic athletes for 13 years and is currently pursuing her masters in coaching through the National Coaching Institute. She is still actively competing in the sport, having just returned from the Transatlantic Race where she finished first in her division and an International Women’s regatta where her team finished 5thamong some of the best female sailors in the World.

In addition to sailing, Samantha enjoys many other sports and activities such as ball hockey, snowboarding, soccer, traveling and photography.
